In compliance with the Bathing Beach regulations a permit to operate Sandy Beach was issued . During the summer of 2012 the public bathing beach swimming water was tested in three locations on different occasions. Parks and recreation will be notified regularly regarding water test results. All samples were taken by Board of Health staff and delivered to Microbac Laboratories, Inc. in Worcester, MA.
